Resolution: Won't Fix

That is: is shouldn't be fixed here. The next question would probably be: "the
maven-install-plugin is suffering the same problem, can we fix it there too?"
That's a sign that this should be solved somewhere else. Either by the
build-helper-maven-plugin on in Maven Core itself.
