sourceDirectory only indicates the java sources, while maven.src.dir contains 
'everything', ie src, test,site, conf,...
Cleary, sourceDirectory should be a subdirectory of maven.src.dir, as long as 
that's the case, there should be no problem if they are defined together (they 
are already defined at the same time in the current maven version).
