Joerg Schaible commented on MECLIPSE-40:
----------------------------------------

Well, if you create a project with eclipse:eclipse the project's id *is* the
artifactId. Have a look into your .project files! The problem is, that Eclipse
will not change the project name anymore, once you have imported the project -
refresh wil not help. So just delete yopur projects in Eclipse and import them
again, then your projects have the 'proper' name and the project-dependencies
are working all right.

> Multi project dependencies should not require eclipse project names to be the
> artifactId

> Multi project dependencies should not require eclipse project names to be the
> artifactId
> eg:
> eclipse workspace:
> > Project1 -> creates artifact-x
> > Protect2 -> creates artifact-y, depends on artifact-x
> > MultiBuild - to build a selected collection of checked out projects
> >> pom.xml includes,
> ...
> <modules>
>  <module>../Project1</module>
>  <module>../Project2</module>
> <modules>
> ...
> eclipse:eclipse will create a depencency to a project named artifact-x, where
> it should create a dependency to Project1
