darren hartford commented on MNGECLIPSE-51: ------------------------------------------- Problem statement "real life project you have to use (commercial) third party jars or legacy jars" not available at ibiblio. This is very true, and this should be managed by an internal repository (in addition to an ibiblio repository). Outside of that statement, there is a 'maven-proxy' tool as well as a future 'maven respository manager' tool, but you STILL need to make an interal repository and the proxy/MRM just adds another layer. Recommend the above solution for now and configure your POM (or parent organization POM) with multiple repository locations. i.e. Eugene's 2nd post ;-) > Create a wizard / window for manually adding dependencies to local repository > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: MNGECLIPSE-51 > URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNGECLIPSE-51 > Project: Maven 2.x Extension for Eclipse > Type: New Feature > Components: Wizards > Reporter: Kees de Kooter > Assignee: Eugene Kuleshov > Priority: Minor > Fix For: 1.0.0 > > > Basically this will be a GUI to the mvn install:install-file command. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
