Say you want your archetype to make trunk/src/... and branches and tags 
directories at the root level. Archetype makes them, but still (additionally) 
goes off and creates its own pom.xml and src/... directories, even though they 
are not specified. Archetype should only make what you tell it to, not all 
sorts of other stuff.
