Looks like the author nests the hyperlink syntax `[anchor|url]` in monospace
`{{xxx}}` and bold text `*xxx*`. This seems to confuse the parser. I'd leave
this because I think it'd be difficult to fix (we need to peek at how Jira
handles such complex inline syntax nests), and hope such complex Jira syntax
usage is rare.
