David Smiley commented on SOLR-13915:
-------------------------------------

This is a general "how do I" like I used to do in ant with XYZ. Lets just
document them somewhere. We could put such notes in the gradle file as
comments by the top. Also FYI the README.txt refers to "ant". Maybe it still
should for awhile since gradle isn't _quite_ prime time yet.

> Figure out the equivalent of "ant dist server" in the Gradle build

> Who knows? Perhaps this already happens in the Gradle build and I just don't
> know the magic.
> Whether we actually require an equivalent of both targets is an open
> question. The goal is to be able to execute some target, then execute
> "bin/solr start".
