I see. I think this goes back to my previous comment that the engine catalog APIs will have to be able to resolve views as tables. They will simply navigate to the storage table location from the view as an entry point. Engine catalog APIs may have to evolve to do that, along with view resolution implementation. @jackye1995 do you agree this is the workflow? @JanKaul, does this make filtering the catalog by table location not required? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
