Yea I think , we cant do any arithmetic otherwise it becomes a matter of applying the delete file, which shouldn't be done in metadata table. This should be coming just from file metadata, in my opinion. > What about the global deletes? (row level delete for unpartitioned data). Does it come under the partition value null? Yea I would say for partitions table, we may choose not to show it or show it like that (up for debate).
