@amogh-jahagirdar you wrote the DV merge path in `DVUtil` (#15006) - could you take a look at this one? `readDV` and `BaseDeleteLoader` size their read from `content_size_in_bytes` without rejecting negatives, so a corrupt manifest fails with `NegativeArraySizeException` or an invalid seek instead of a clear error.
