@wombatu-kun Hi, I know you're busy, but several reports now point to the
same root cause: the coordinator is not cleaned up properly on rebalance or
task stop (#16016, #16020,
#16843). We hit it in production with 1.10 and still see duplicate
coordinators on 1.12.0, where the new validation catches the conflict but the
task then stays FAILED. Is there a plan
to move forward with one of the proposed fixes, or would a fresh PR that
combines the thread join with the leader-partition check have a better chance
of review? Happy to contribute if
