### Apache Iceberg version main (development), b7792e9e8799 ### Please describe the bug 🐞 Reading a manifest list whose `partitions` element record is named `field_summary` fails: ``` ocf: resolving reader schema: avro: incompatible at partitions.items: reader FieldSummary vs writer field_summary: record names do not match ``` `field_summary` is the name the spec gives that struct (`508 partitions: list<508: field_summary>`), and LakeSail (pysail 0.7.2, main d219a98598) writes it that way. `manifest.go` only aliases `r508`, the name Java writes, so any other writer's name is rejected. Java resolves these files by field ID and ignores record names. Seen with `Scan().PlanFiles` and `compaction.Analyze` on tables written by Sail; the same tables read fine in Java-based engines. Possible fix: match Avro records by field ID and ignore record names, or at least add `field_summary` as an alias next to `r508`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
