I generally don't like to increase scope of PRs for a few reasons: 1) they get squashed to the single commit on merge, so we lose the commit history, 2) that one commit is what goes in the changelog, which makes it hard to reason about the changes, 3) it makes it harder to revert if something breaks. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
