Do we still need this `spawn_blocking`? IIUC
https://github.com/apache/iceberg-rust/pull/3111/changes#r4174351086 says this
is not a block operation? My major concern comes from maintaining a runtime
Handle using `Handle::try_current`. If we actually need this, we should
consider passing the runtime in Catalog to it.
