The two go1.25.9 jobs on 149c395 failed in TestClusteredWriter with "fatal error: receive on synctest channel from outside bubble", while both go1.26.1 jobs passed. The cause was the new compaction test: it wrote zstd parquet inside its synctest bubble, arrow-go keeps zstd encoders in a global sync.Pool, and klauspost's Encoder creates its encoders channel on first use, so a pooled encoder whose channel belonged to the bubble was later reused by TestClusteredWriter outside it. Locally the pool was usually cleared by GC before the next zstd write; with GOGC=off the pair fails every time on go1.25.9. abfc09d sets write.parquet.compression-codec to uncompressed on the reorder fixture's table, so the test touches no codec pool inside the bubble. With GOGC=off the pair passes three times in a row, and go test ./table/... -race -count=1 passes. Nothing else changed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
