Are you using mostly partition scoped position delete files? I believe we were (even at that point in time last year) moving to the general philosophy that using partition scoped deletes was generally a bad idea. I don't think there is an issue with allowing the cache to be optionally turned on but at the moment it would only really apply partition delete files in V2 tables right? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
