   Have we considered a different flow, where we confirm the lock registration? 
Why are we assuming that every lock register event succeeds?

Review Comment:
   Would it be possible to break this into a base class and two implementation, 
one coordinator class for the TriggerManagerOperator and one for the 
LockRemoverOperator? I think that would greatly help understanding how the code 
works and provide a better separation of concerns.
