A few minor suggestions:
1. Rename to `required-projections` (in the plural), since it's an array of
Terms.
2. Would an alternate name like `column-transforms` solve the issue with the
word "projection", which is a bit overloaded?
3. Would it be better to design this as a map of (unmodified) column names
to Terms, rather than an array?
