The following test [passes in TestRESTCatalog](https://github.com/apache/iceberg/blob/main/core/src/test/java/org/apache/iceberg/rest/TestRESTCatalog.java), but I think this re-uses the original schema: ```java @Test public void addAndDropColumn() { Namespace namespace = Namespace.of("ns"); TableIdentifier identifier1 = TableIdentifier.of(namespace, "addAndDropColumn"); if (requiresNamespaceCreate()) { catalog().createNamespace(namespace); } Table tbl = catalog().createTable(identifier1, SCHEMA); tbl.updateSchema().addColumn("foo", Types.StringType.get()).commit(); tbl.updateSchema().deleteColumn("foo").commit(); } } ``` -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
