Review Comment:
The main motivation for this beeing recursive is that a namespace has almost
no value has it only has the `update-namespace-properties` event attached to
it. What most folks are probably interested in is everything that happend in a
Namespace.
Thinking about it again though its not nice that some filter behave
differently than others. Happy to discuss this again.
