Based on my experience, if you restart the connector before hitting the retention limits set on the control topic, the pending Iceberg snapshots should get committed. If nothing made it to the control topic (i.e. you got this exception in your first run), the connector will start reading the source data topic from beginning -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
