@Fokko @kevinjqliu I also would like to raise a consensus question about the interoperability between python and java implementation. Because when I dig into the metadata & data files with bucketTransform and found that `iceberg-python` has committed to the table successfully, except the iceberg spark can't filter it out due to above issue. Meanwhile, I used Trino and it was able to access the table. I could add the Trino docker compose for development if you approved.
