Rest catalog was a little inflexible in terms of support optional params but should be pretty flexible now. I tried a few approaches and this seemed like the only one to not introduce breaking changes. Resolves #2085 which will unblock #2084 and make it pretty brainless to support more of the spec for a rest catalog https://github.com/apache/iceberg/blob/main/open-api/rest-catalog-open-api.yaml I am not super familiar with openapi but maybe we can take advantage of it and get something autogenerated and never have to worry about it? idrk -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
