I've done some digging and found that `GenericParquetReaders` initially read `int96` timestamps without timezone information. This behavior was changed from using `LocalDateTime` to `OffsetDateTime` in [this PR](https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/1323), as Spark and most other engines write `int96` timestamps with timezone offsets. Since `int96` is now [deprecated in Parquet](https://github.com/apache/parquet-format/issues/301), we should consider deprecating it in Iceberg as well. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
