   Thanks for your comment.
   We have the same logic in the beginning of the  
`distributeDataStreamByRangeDistributionMode` method:
   
   ```
   int writerParallelism =
       flinkWriteConf.writeParallelism() == null
           ? input.getParallelism()
           : flinkWriteConf.writeParallelism();
   ```
   So I think that for range partitioning the behavior should be the same. What 
do you think ?
