   ### Feature Request / Improvement

   The [`rewrite_table_path` Spark
procedure](https://iceberg.apache.org/docs/nightly/spark-procedures/#rewrite_table_path)
available in Iceberg core allows for rewriting the absolute paths on an
Iceberg table's metadata to enable movement of the data files and metadata to a
new location for replication purposes.

Being able to accomplish this for Iceberg tables without using the JVM
ecosystem would help organizations that want to minimize Spark usage.

I would be willing to contribute this if the maintainers think this belongs
in PyIceberg.
