I definitely think we should be fixing Record copy. That's the intent of the code here unless we want to completely change the guarentees of this api. Again changing the API would change behavior for equality and position deletes so I'm not comfortable with just changing it at a low level. Instead we should focus on what is a real bug (record copy doesn't actually copy the record) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
