@ebyhr version 470. Someone suggested to switch from position to equality deletes or switch from CoW to MoR. I really don't know too much details and don't know if this could actually help, and I can't either find some similar arguments in the [connector documentation](https://iceberg.apache.org/docs/nightly/kafka-connect/). I've found them in the [Apache Iceberg documentation](https://iceberg.apache.org/docs/latest/configuration/#write-properties) but I don't know if I can apply those settings to the connector. Another option I was thinking of was to pause the connector to prevent commits, run the optimize, resume the connector, but I'm not really sure about the consequences. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
