FYI those are not *materialized* views but *normal* views. Currently Iceberg view support has been implemented in Spark/Trino. I don't know what's being planned for Flink/Doris or any other engines. Engines like Apache Doris are maintained outside of the Iceberg community, so you will have to check with them what their plan is on supporting Iceberg views. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
