   My use case was developing/testing/running an application in a local 
Kubernetes cluster (Kind). This way, there wasn't a way to inject any 
credentials into the pod (e.g. via `~/.aws/credentials`) and no other 
authentication mechanism (e.g. credentials attached to an EC2 instance) could 
be used.
