Hi @nastra , I’ve also encountered this issue with the Glue catalog. Specifically, commands like `SHOW DATABASES` or `SHOW TABLES` return an empty list because the interfaces reference the Spark session catalog. I believe this can be addressed in a manner similar to how `loadTable` works—meaning we could fall back to the Spark session catalog if no namespaces or tables are found in the Iceberg catalog.
