After a lot of investigation I discovered that this is due to the vended credential from Polaris expiring. I found this [proposal](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1acCkaPCO7WsLtvYugrayurbef4zCnD2rb3ZPBKeaYoo/edit?tab=t.0), which explains the problem. An additional endpoint was added to the REST specification, but Polaris hasn't implement it.
