@RussellSpitzer Sorry that I did not make it clear. I think this is not an issue specific to Gravitino and I think other IRC implementations should have the same problem. You have pointed out the line where transaction is created and if you check next few lines where specifying how `finalMetadata` is produced, it is actually not using any `tableProperties` from the baseTransaction https://github.com/apache/iceberg/blob/3cc4b045c6df776a9167ceb31338e9170d02df4e/core/src/main/java/org/apache/iceberg/rest/CatalogHandlers.java#L351 and I think this is the reason why it caused the issue. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
