@anupam-saini Are you still working on this PR? For context, we are doing some _interesting_ (and probably wrong) stuff to mimic Iceberg Java's REPLACE TABLE in https://github.com/bodo-ai/Bodo/blob/main/bodo/io/iceberg/write.py#L610, so having this built-in would be useful.
