The only open point from my perspective is table refresh during planning time, but even that could be handled in a follow-up. @mxm: We decided to refactor out #11513 to make this work. Yesterday I have discussed this with Russell, and I will post a message on the dev list about the main remaining question (https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/11513#discussion_r1877424024). We need to decide on how the future API will look like.
