Review Comment:
   I think our practice to put high number of files to a single package, and 
mixing the public API with the implementation details makes the development of 
the Iceberg connector often confusing. It is hard to understand what is a 
public API, and what should only used internally.
   Also there will be very high number of operators needed for the 
implementation of the other maintenance tasks.
   
   I agree that the stream might not be the best name, maybe `api` would be 
better,  but I would try to separate out the classes used by the user from the 
classes only used by the implementation.
