Thanks for looking at this so quickly @Fokko! I think we (and the apache_avro crate) should consider some more detailed error logging for manifest file parse failures as well. It took me a couple of hours and some debugger deep dives to get to the bottom of what was happening - this could have been easier to unravel with more informative errors. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
