Technically, there could be code that checks `if (io instanceof
SupportsPrefixOperations) { // do some prefix-related operation }` where `io`
is of type `ResolvingFileIO` but the underlying io implementation doesn't
support prefix operations. We unfortunately don't have a good way to detect
this
