## Question about Release Process Hi Apache Hop team, I'm am working Apache Hop and I kindly need some clarification on your release tagging strategy to ensure we're using the correct stable versions. ### Current Confusion Looking at your GitHub tags, I see: - `2.15.0-rc1` (Aug 8, 2025) - `2.15.0-rc2` (Aug 12, 2025) - `2.14.0-rc1` (May 13, 2025) However, your blog announces "Apache Hop 2.14.0 GA release" at https://hop.apache.org/blog/2025/05/hop-2.14.0/ but I only see the `2.14.0-rc1` tag in the repository. ### Questions 1. **What is your official release process?** - Do RC tags eventually become the GA release, or do you create separate GA tags? - For 2.14.0: Is `2.14.0-rc1` the actual GA release tag? 2. **How should downstream identify stable releases?** - Should we track RC tags as they represent your stable releases? - Or should we wait for dedicated GA/stable tags? 3. **Where can I find the definitive list of stable releases?** - GitHub Releases page? - Your website's download section? ### Examples of Confusion - Blog says "2.14.0 GA" is released, but only `2.14.0-rc1` tag exists - No clear distinction between RC and final release tags - Unclear if RC tags are meant for testing or are the actual release artifacts -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
