It's only one data point, but we do have an upgrade test in Phoenix that loads an old HBase 1.x Snapshot, and that one works fine with this single change. I know that HBase 2 has dropped support for some codecs, and those need to be changed and compacted before upgrade. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
