This PR adds a practical Production Readiness Checklist and short incident
runbooks to the
Operations Management chapter:
- A table-driven checklist covering versions, HA, ZooKeeper, HDFS
durability, memory/cache,
compaction/flush, region layout, security, observability, backups, and
SLOs.
- Copy/paste pre-launch checks for go-live readiness.
- First-response runbooks for hot region, compaction backlog, disk full,
long GC pauses,
and RegionServer flapping.
- A short “Change management & drills” section to encourage rolling restarts
and recovery exercises.
Audience: operators and on-call engineers preparing HBase for production or
responding to incidents.
References: existing admin docs for deeper configuration details. No code
changes.
