Nick Couchman closed GUACAMOLE-2151.
------------------------------------
Resolution: Duplicate
This is likely a duplicate of the issues already described in GUACAMOLE-2118,
relating to processes that are hanging and not exiting, some of which eat the
CPU while they are hung, others of which are just idle. It also could be
related to GUACAMOLE-1998.

> Hello,
> since upgrading to V{*}ersion 1.6.0{*}, we have been experiencing significant
> performance issues on our server.
> It appears that the guacd processes are stacking up over time. Please refer
> to the attached graph from our monitoring system. After a fresh reboot, it
> took approximately *13 days* for the server to reach a *load average of 9*
> and {*}CPU usage exceeding 90%{*}. This behavior is clearly visible in the
> graph.
> Upon checking, the number of Guacamole-related processes is unusually high:
> {{pstree -p | grep guac | wc -l}}
> {{1290}}
> This raises the question:
> * Are the {{guacd}} processes not being terminated correctly?
> * Could there be a problem with the garbage collection mechanism?
> *System Information:*
> * OS: Debian 12 (Bookworm)
> * CPU: 8 cores
> * RAM: 16 GB
> We would appreciate any insights regarding this issue.
> Is this a *known problem* with version 1.6.0?
> Best regards
