Hi Nick,
I just upgraded to 1.5.5 (server, war, auth-jdbc) and it's still the same.
Surprisingly, I got a way to get the accents but this is really weird => If you
press an accent key right after an alt-gr char (like @ on a french keyboard),
then the accent char shows, but otherwise, nothing appears.
