After continued debugging/testing I've been able to narrow down the
"spice_main_channel_clipboard_selection_grab" freeze to this Spice GTK function:
spice_channel_wakeup(SPICE_CHANNEL(channel), FALSE);
Compililing SpiceGTK from source and commenting out that line causes the freeze
to go away although I'm sure it breaks other functionality.
I'm still tracking down why it freezes
[~vnick] did you come across this in your testing? I'm not sure if anyone was
testing directly against Proxmox QEMU so maybe its just me. I'll keep at it and
let you all know what I find.
