Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1874:
----------------------------------------

FWIW, it's already possible to bookmark the current arrangement of tiles (it's
controlled by the set of connection identifiers in the URL). You can then
instantly open the same tiled arrangement of connections whenever desired.

> Open multiple connections from home page

>
> As explained in [the
> documentation|[https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/using-guacamole.html#adding-a-connection-to-the-current-view],]
> it is possible to open multiple connection in the same view from an opened
> connection by using the guacamole {*}menu{*}.
> _It could be nice_ to add this feature in the guacamole {*}home page{*}.
> Example use case : I have an application with two frontend servers. I want to
> open a connection on both server in a single view to watch the frontend
> service's logs.
> * Currently :
> ** From the home page, I enter the "frontend" keyword in the filter.
> Connection to both frontend server is displayed.
> ** I have to click on one of my frontend server to open a connection.
> ** Then, I have to open the guacamole menu with CTRL + ALT + SHIFT, click on
> the connection name.
> ** Then, again, I enter "frontend" keyword in the filter and I click on the
> checkbox next to the second connection.
> * Proposed improvement :
> ** From the home page, I enter the "frontend" keyword in the filter.
> Connection to both frontend server is displayed.
> ** I click on the checkbox next to the first connection. It opens a
> connection displayed in the drop-down menu, so I am still on the home page
> and my search is still active.
> ** Then, I click on the checkbox next to the second connection which is
> added to last view.
> ** Finally, I can click on the connection in the drop-down menu to access
> both connections.
