Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-839: --------------------------------------- [~vnick], I think you're right from what information I can find on U2F and similar technologies. With there being a hardware device involved, this would have to be X.509-based via SSL client authentication ... or possibly WebAuthn. It sounds like we should try implementing general SSO via smart card (SSL client auth) while GUACAMOLE-1601 can remain the home for WebAuthn support. Once implemented, one or both of those would satisfy the original need behind this JIRA issue. > Add support for U2F Authentication > ---------------------------------- > > Key: GUACAMOLE-839 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-839 > Project: Guacamole > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: guacamole-client > Reporter: Bastian Machek > Priority: Minor > > Implement Universal 2nd Factor authentication support, which appears to be a > hardware key mechanism. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
