Well, yes, that is required for compiling Guacamole (guacd), but, more
importantly, in order for guacd to support connecting to TigerVNC with the JPEG
compression algorithm you're asking about, libvncclient has to support that
compression algorithm. That is, while there may be some flags required to
enable that in guacd, the actual support for the algorithm must be present in
libvncclient. The Guacamole project does not maintain libvncclient, so you'd
have to verify with them that the algorithm is supported within that library
prior to trying to enable it in Guacamole.

This is not libvncclient, but rather some compiled version of guacd from the
nux-desktop repository. Note that libvncclient is part of libvncserver, so it
may be under libvncserver-devel, instead.
