The latest release of Geode, 1.15.1, declares a dependency on JGroups 3.6.14.
This version of JGroups is subject to a critical CVE,
[https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2016-2141,] which requires moving to
JGroups 4.+. Geode's dependency on JGroups should be bumped to version 4.+ and
any related bug should be addressed
