Jacob Barrett commented on GEODE-10127:
---------------------------------------

The change from toString to marshal results in the loss of
{{hostname-for-clients}} or {{bind-address}} as the name sent remotely. This
change had no tests associated with it. All current tests affected by this bug
don't fail because we don't don't do any multi-homed or split-horizon DNS
testing.

> When locators in distributed system (DS) B as for locators in DS A they are
> sent the local host name and IP address of the locators and not that of the
> {{hostname-for-clients}} or {{bind-address}} properties.
