Summary: Examples won't build directly from Visual Studio 2017
with CMake support.

The embedded CMake version is 9.x but our Example CMake files require 10.x.
Since we don't need anything as new as 10.x let's lower that to 9.x for more
coverage.
This applies to Examples only. We need 10.x for GTest support for the main
product build.
